Scott Garman
I was the original founder and co-chair of the NH Ruby Users Group, but have since migrated to the Silicon Forest in Portland, Oregon as of early 2009. My background is focused primarily in embedded Linux software development and systems administration, but I have fallen in love with Ruby and the Rails framework and seek to advocate its use when possible/appropriate.
One of my pet projects is CampaignLever, a web application intended to help grassroots groups organize and run effective letter-writing campaigns.

Russ Jones
I’ve been developing for the web since mosaic was the in-thing. I have no concept of time or money, I just like to code. I enjoy talking about code and meeting others who do as well. I once taught myself Java by reading 11 Java books, 7 of them before writing a line of code. My interest in programming has sky rocketed since learning Ruby. Hit me up if you’re in the Portland, Maine area, love to chat!

Jon Linowes
Entrepreneurial executive, with over 20 years hands-on management and technical experience.
Several years ago I renewed my technical interests and retooled my technical skills, adopting open-source web development platforms, first Xaraya (php), and more recently Ruby on Rails. I’m having a great time developing numerous strategic web applications for various clients.
I’m living in northern New Hampshire, about 3 hours north of Boston, on a former dairy farm with my wife and four children. My satellite internet connection is ok, but isn’t great.

Brian Turnbull
Brian Turnbull started his programming career at the tender age of 10 on a Timex Sinclair 1000 and quickly progressed to writing BASIC on the Atari 400, Apple //e, and IBM PC. A degree in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University, and 4 years working for Motorola Cellular Advanced Products Division and Tellabs Next Generation Product Development as a hardware design engineer couldn’t keep him from following his true softie calling. In 1999, he took a position as the fourth software engineer with Chicago-based startup Cadant writing embedded C/C++ device drivers, middleware, and management software for PowerPC and MIPS64 architectures.
Currently employed by ARRIS Solutions, Brian moonlights as a contributor to Ruby projects big and small, his favorite being the Rails Rumble competition. He is also active in the Ruby open source community, and a frequent speaker at local technology groups.
